Add Roasted Red Pepper to Alfredo Pasta For a Touch of Sweetness

Alfredo pasta is easily one of our favorite all-time dishes. It’s just so rich and creamy, and also incredibly satisfying! It’s definitely the kind of dish to stick to your ribs, and it’s also amazingly smooth and tantalizing. As much as we like the original version, however, we recently discovered a savory variation that really impressed us! This version uses roasted red pepper, which gives the already luscious alfredo sauce a smoky, slightly sweet flavor.

This pasta is absolutely loaded with all kinds of delicious flavor, thanks not only to the red pepper and creamy alfredo sauce, but also to the onion, garlic, and fresh basil leaves. Yum! Even better, this recipe takes just 10 minutes, which is why it’s one of our go-to dishes for when we have unexpected guests coming over and not a lot of time to cook, but still want to impress.
